Hope you're having a fantastic weekend! It's a little cold in Melbourne at the moment. The weather here is always so strange. One minute the sun is shining, the next minute it's pouring rain. You learn very quickly to take an umbrella with you everywhere you go!
I was bored one afternoon this week and decided to experiment with the colours I haven't really used in my coastal scents 88 matte palette (which I am still LOVING by the way!). I realised I avoided the green colours and I was baffled as to why that was! I have hazel/green eyes, so I assumed that green tones would suit the colour of my eyes. I attempted a semi-smokey bright green eye look.
Here is how it turned out...
The steps I took to achieve this look were very similar to "Icequeen inspired" bright blue look I came up with. I won't provide the description but if you would like one, just follow the Icequeen tutorial. :)
The palettes I used...
- The white colour in the stylish smoker's by Maybelline (far right photo) was used as a highlight colour.
- The shimmery green colour (in middle photo) was applied lightly all over the lid to add some extra sparkle. :)
I hope you enjoyed this look. I have noticed since I've been blogging, I've been stepping out of my comfort zone as I keep trying new colours and various different colour combinations! Please let me know what you think, don't be afraid to leave a comment-I would love some feedback!
Plenty more to come so stay tuned!
